Holiday time - 24 October, 2011

Our two year olds Knocker Knowles and Major Buckley are now on holiday for the winter. It is unfortunate that Major Buckley did not get to the racecourse this year but like many of the Swinbank youngsters he never recovered fully from the bacterial infection that hit the yard early in the summer.

Fatty Foulkes is back in full training and coming along nicely, he will probably start life in National Hunt Flat races in due course.

William Haigh unfortunately took a knock to his hind leg at Wetherby on hurdles debut, he is back cantering now and we will probably look for a return to Southwell before going back over hurdles.

Si Sealy is still at livery but should return to training during November.

Steelcut is entered in a claiming race over 5f at Kempton on Thursday. We hope the return to the minimum trip will spark an improvement upon his recent form.
